Dremel is a brand of power tools known primarily for their rotary tools. The Dremel Company was founded in 1932 in Racine, Wisconsin by Albert J. Dremel, who was the original inventor of Dremel tools. Dremel was acquired by the Emerson company in 1973, and that group later aligned with the Robert Bosch Tool Group in the 1993, bringing the Dremel product line into the Bosch fold. Dremel's rotary tools are similar to the pneumatic die grinders used in the metalworking industry by tool or moldmakers.
